Jo Karabitsios

Jo Karabitsios is a co-founder and Director of Evexia. Jo has over 16 years’ experience providing organisational psychology services to a diverse client base and 12 years as an entrepreneur and business leader running small to medium consulting firms.

Jo’s consulting focus includes:

Jo has extensive expertise in providing advice, strategy and interventions to workplaces and leaders working in high risk, high security environments, frontline services and complex stakeholder scenarios.

Jo has undertaken organisational consulting projects in multiple public sector Departments and GOCs including: QLD Corrective Services; Crown Law; Transport and Main Roads; Department of Health; CCC; Department of Communities; Justice and Attorney General; Police, Fire and Emergency Services; Department of Human Services; Office of the Health Ombudsman; CS Energy; Energy QLD; Stanwell; and a range of private and not for profit organisations including Origin Energy; New Hope Group; Idemitsu; Salvation Army and Mission Australia; and higher education as QUT, University of Queensland, University of Adelaide, Monash and Australian National University.

As a business owner, Jo understands first hand the challenges faced by small to medium enterprise, and the complexity of leading people through uncertainty. Her approach is to create clarity and direction in ambiguity and living the mantra of choosing kindness today. Jo balances the running of Evexia, with the joys of three small children, the occasional big game fishing trip and attempts at keeping her veggie patch alive.
