Dr Claire Ryan

As a Senior Workplace Psychologist and Organisational Consultant at Evexia, Claire loves finding tailored approaches to help organisations and individuals flourish. Her work involves identifying and solving complex people risks, maximise team engagement, and achieve excellence in business performance.

Claire has expertise in organisational development solutions, applied research and delivering interventions to change organisational culture and systems. She has worked across various
contexts, including health care, resources sector, corrective services, education, and human services. Claire has a particular interest in positive psychology and culture change: Her PhD research investigated an applied intervention to increase proactive coping and psychological capital (hope, resilience, efficacy, optimism) to influence culture and performance.

Claire has a broad range of organisational development skills and experiences. She has worked in senior roles to deliver services, including: Culture health reviews, health & safety culture assessments, program strategy and organisational development, learning and development, evaluations and applied research, advocacy and policy, co-design with First Nations Peoples, organisation-wide consultations, and developing consumer participation frameworks.

Some of her favourite work has been leading the initial evaluation for the NRL’s State of Mind Mental Health Literacy program in grassroots clubs across Australia. Claire also published Australia’s first evaluation of an Indigenous Participation Plan within the construction industry and has had the chance to co-design with some of Australia’s leading experts in First Nations peoples engagement and well-being in the workplace.

Claire brings a richness of expertise, practice and insights and loves finding creative ways to communicate and help people learn. Claire is driven to deliver exceptional customer services through high quality, ethical, evidence-based practice.
